While having a chat with friends about those misheard song lyrics (mondegreens) that appeared recently in this column, the conversation got around to another intriguing realm of the musical world -- country & western songs. One colleague mentioned a song entitled Get Your Tongue Out Of My Mouth 'Cause I'm Kissing You Goodbye. One a bit more cryptic is If You Won't Leave Me Alone, I'll Find Someone Who Will. I must admit that C&W is not my favourite music, but it does have a redeeming virtue in that it produces some of the most wonderful song titles and lyrics. Most of the songs seem to feature people in some sort of domestic drama.
